Each character on our MUD has six stats (or ability scores) that make up the core of the character's build: strength, intelligence, wisdom, dexterity, constitution and charisma. These stats should be adjusted to not only maximize on your character's potential for their chosen class, but also to reflect any specifics about their physical appearance or role-play characteristics.
The descriptions below are to be used as general guidelines for informational purposes. As with all things, there are exceptions to the rules and not all characters are created equal; some knights may favor charisma over constitution, while some warriors might favor dexterity over strength - each player should make an informed decision based on the archetype of their character's design.
Strength
This stat reflects the raw physical power of a character. It determines how much your character can lift and carry, and how hard they hit in melee combat.
Classes that might favor this stat: Knight, Warrior, Paladin, Defender
Intelligence
This stat reflects how much your character can learn and know. For all classes, this can determine how effective your practices are when used to train skills and how high those skills can be trained.
Classes that might favor this stat: Mage, Cleric, Druid, Ranger, Paladin
Wisdom
This stat reflects a character's experience in the world. A wise character learns from their own experiences, not from books or schools. For some classes, this can determine how many spells are available to the character.

Dexterity
This stat reflects the character's nimbleness, reflexes, flexibility, and precision. It can determine how quickly your character reacts, as well as
precision with weapons that require it. It also helps when trying to
swipe something away, getting out of being tied up, and dodging attacks.
Classes that might favor this stat: Ranger, Rogue, Monk
Constitution
This stat reflects the hardiness and general health of your character. It determines how much physical punishment a character can sustain and their resistance to poisons, diseases, and spells.
Classes that might favor this stat: Knight, Ranger, Warrior, Defender, Paladin
Charisma
This stat can reflect two things: a character's physical attractiveness, or their ability to get along well with others. It can be likened to the force of a character's personality, be they a leader, a liar, or a charmer.
